Invite your family and friends to our Ash Wednesday service on February 18th from 7-8 pm. Ash Wednesday begins the holy season of Lent with a fast to acknowledge our need for His forgiveness and our gratitude for His perfect love. It is a solemn service of self-examination, prayer, and repentance. Ash Wednesday reminds us of our Lord’s 40-day fast in the wilderness, his temptations from the devil, and his tremendous love for us through His future death on the cross to wipe away our sins. At the end of the service, participants will receive ashes in the sign of a cross on their foreheads. We will also give away, while supplies last, 40-day prayer booklets to pray for revival in our country. Childcare is available for younger children.
